Meet Adrie Van Keulen, one of our production engineers at MTEE. Adrie has worked at our company for 6 years and is specialized in welding.
“As a production engineer I mainly work on improving the assembly line processes.  Based on the analysis of production data gathered from our lines, we are able to detect where the lines can be optimized. The more we can help to increase the amount of “first time right” turbocharger assemblies, the more motivated the line operators will be and the fewer losses we will have.
What I especially like about my job is that it is not just one technique we work with here on the lines. Welding, tightening, inspection with cameras etc. They are all very different techniques. Welding is complicated because it can only be done once and it is not easily automated. I have gathered a lot of knowledge on it during my time in the company and helped to improve the quality of the outcome”.
